About me

Who...? I’m Heather, better known to most as Hez. At a glance you’d think I was your average 18 year old, but you couldn’t be more wrong. I’d much prefer a pair of skinny jeans to dressing up, I don't enjoy going out drinking (and wasting money!) and there’s nothing I love more than getting muddy playing football or running. That’s the one time I can let myself go and be me. Oh, and one thing that gets on my tits, is still getting ID’d for lottery tickets, which I suppose might not be a bad thing?

This blog… I was inspired to write this blog after finding ‘Bitten by the dog’ (go read it too!) Beaten Egg is about my battle with anxiety and depression, ever since reading Bitten by the dog I have lived by the phrase; ‘Depression is like an egg, it can be beaten.’ So I felt it was an appropriate name! You may find that I mumble on a lot, but there's some point behind the mumbling, promise.
